Leather lined wooden stop at one end. The wood part usually emits the sharpest sounds while the skin, exerting a greater pressure on the edge of the bowl, helps to get more bass sounds, in addition to avoiding the over-vibration that sometimes the wood produces.
It is recommended for Tibetan Bowls.
